We found our paradise amongst the trees! Enjoying our time in Ubud’s natural paradise, we enjoyed the unique surrounds of Bambu Indah. Translating to ‘beautiful bamboo’ in Balinese, we quickly understood why!
A quirky combination of bamboo buildings and antique wood houses makes Bambu Indah the perfect mix of comfort and character.
For explorers like us, Ubud is a perfect hideaway and adventurers’ haven all in one.

Fresh coffee and coconut water were the perfect way to start each day. Each morning, we enjoyed delicious locally sourced breakfasts. In fact, we could see where our herbs and vegetables came from…just a short distance away from the Bamboo Indah grounds!

The rope swing kept us entertained for hours and Bruna kept us laughing with her rope swing technique!

We loved tree house living! We spent the warm and lazy afternoons on the day bed listening to Lee-Ann jamming on the verandah while falling asleep to the hum of the jungle.
Just a short taxi ride away, we headed into town to do a little shopping on the streets near Ubud central.

Winding our way through rice paddies to find the perfect place for lunch, we discovered Sari Organik. Good to see our appetite for coconut water hadn’t disappeared!

Our table almost couldn’t handle our feast of traditional Balinese meals (but we could)!

After filling ourselves with delicious local cuisine we were ready for the next adventure…. cruising the local markets! We’re always looking for something to add to our colorful collection of memories at home.
